Mission:
To provide the highest standard of quality education and training for the most competent and skillful knowledge professionals who will embrace complex jobs in the emerging knowledge-based economy.

Our Values:

We Plan to:

Offer and deliver the highest quality curriculum in information architecture, usability engineering and knowledge management in North America
Outcome: A solid educational foundation for knowledge and information professionals

Respond to the needs of businesses and industry for the skills and competencies required of knowledge and information professionals.
Outcome: Quality knowledge professionals well-equipped to handle the job requirements of private sector, public sector, military sector, educational sector and research sector organizations.

New Initiatives:
•  Develop and implement web-enabled e-learning modules of many elements of the program.

•  Develop and implement certificate programs for information architects, usability engineers, knowledge managers and executives.

•  Launch a state-of-the-art usability lab and knowledge lab for education, research and business use.

•  Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans that will interest and attract new learning, especially mid-career professionals trying to upgrade and keep current their skills and competencies.

•  Identify and recruit experienced professionals who have the skills to teach as adjunct faculty within the program – thus, enriching our learners' educational experience.

•  Offer consultancies to business and industry where our students can carry out consulting roles and gain precious, on-the-job experience with real-world work problems in:

Information Architecture,
Information Use,
Knowledge Management.
