Dr. Zeng holds a Ph.D. from the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Her major research interests include knowledge organization and representation, multilingual information processing and retrieval, electronic publishing, indexing and abstracting, and database quality control. Dr. Zeng's scholarly publications include over 50 papers and two books, in addition to many national and international conference presentations. She received the 1992 American Society for Information Science (ASIS) Doctoral Forum Award for the outstanding doctoral dissertation in information science.
