International Students

All prospective students can get a general guide to getting started on the Prospective Students page of this website.

Prospective international students have more specific need than those of domestic students with the requirement of TOEFL and visas among all of the application documentation. **Please keep in mind: for international students, the general rule of thumb is to apply sixth months prior to the semester in which you hope to begin. This allows for time to process visas and other paperwork necessary to enter the United States for study.

Students interested in studying totally online should not have to leave quite as much time for application processing and can use the IAKM application deadlines.

Below are links to resources that should be especially helpful to international students looking to apply for graduate study at Kent State University.

In general, any application questions can be directed to the IAKM Office at iakm@kent.edu.
